The Ace-Cam 4K action camera is capable of stunning, vibrant colours but, more often than not, has trouble with bright areas. In many conditions whites and other bright areas are washed out, sometimes completely, and details lost. In all fairness, this is true of other budget action cameras I have used.

Although the battery, typical of most action cameras, doesn't last a particularly long time, I have found that I can plug an external battery pack in as if charging the battery, put the battery pack into a pocket, and just leave it plugged in while taking videos. This trick, however, won't work when the waterproof case is on.

For the price, this is a fun little camera and has some great features including waterproof case, time-lapse, motion detection, slow motion and driving mode. It deserves 5 stars for value but loses points for its poor handling of whites. I would consider this camera for children or for an adult just looking for something fun to play around with and not be worried about damaging or losing the camera. If picture quality is important to you, you might consider paying more and getting a higher-end action camera.

This camera has excellent video quality for its size. Easy to assemble but the action button to turn on the video needs a lot of pressure to turn the app on. Battery life is fairly decent at just over 2 hours.

I bought this camera for a beach trip this summer. I didnt want to spend too much since I only needed it for 1 day. This camera exceeded all my expectations and I have actually used it many times since my beach trip. Very happy with my purchase
